Student Orientation

Orientation services and activities are designed to provide prospective freshmen with the tools and information needed to make an informed choice about their university program. The Degree Program implements both individual and group initiatives and participates in University-wide initiatives to provide students with the necessary information for incoming, ongoing, and outgoing orientation.

  • Incoming orientation: To help prospective freshmen make an informed choice about their academic path, taking into account their aptitudes and interests, the Degree Program plans and organizes regular group meetings. These meetings provide an opportunity for discussion, involving the Degree Program faculty and including contributions from former students, graduates, doctoral students, and stakeholders, to highlight the connection between scientific research and the world of work. The Degree Program plans and organizes regular group meetings, actively participates in disseminating information on admission procedures, and directly contributes to the activities promoted by the University during Orientation Days.
  • Ongoing orientation: The Degree Program employs tutors who cover all the curricula of the Master of Science. Their role is to support students enrolled in the Degree Program throughout their entire academic journey, encouraging active participation and successful course attendance, and guiding them towards the correct selection of elective courses. The tutors are selected from among the Program's faculty.
  • Outgoing orientation: The Degree Program supports enrolled students in their entry into the workforce through individual orientation counseling, as well as identifying curricular and extracurricular internships tailored to each student's aptitude. This is achieved through faculty and university placement services and company meetings dedicated to the recruitment of graduates. The Degree Program organizes seminar series led by experts from leading professional organizations in the areas covered by the Degree Program.
