Below are the career guidance initiatives promoted by the Faculty of Economics and the University.

2025

Sapienza Career Days

Students are informed that on March 19 and 20, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Sapienza Career Days,, the main event bringing together our students and the world of work, will be held in the University Campus. This is a valuable opportunity for students, undergraduates, and recent graduates to interact with companies, learn about career opportunities, and apply for internships and jobs. The detailed program is available here.

The event in the Aula Magna on the opening day is particularly noteworthy: it is a crucial opportunity to understand the dynamics and skills required by the job market.

Over the two days, Sapienza undergraduates and graduates will be able to visit the stands of national and international institutions, companies, and businesses in the Piazzale in front of the Minerva, speak with company representatives, and submit their CVs. There will also be a plenary session with institutional greetings from the Rector and speeches from leading figures from institutions, businesses, and public-private partnerships. There will also be a career guidance seminar organized with the support of leading employment agencies in Italy, and company presentations to illustrate their mission and career opportunities.

A "CV Check" corner will also be available during the event for personalized CV consultations. By bringing a hard copy of their CV, participants will be able to speak with Sapienza Career Service experts and receive suggestions for enhancing their skills and experience in both study and work.
 

Career Day Workshop – Make Your Mark

Students are hereby informed that the Career Day Workshop – Make Your Mark will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in Room 5 - Federico Caffè of the Faculty of Economics (first floor). This event is dedicated to students and recent graduates, aimed at helping them navigate the world of work through discussions with high-profile professionals.

During the event, distinguished alumni of our Faculty will share their academic and professional journeys, offering concrete insights on:

  • Key skills required by the market (problem-solving, adaptability, leadership)
  • More strategic training paths and specializations
  • Foreign languages ​​and their role in international opportunities
  • Career prospects and practical advice for successfully entering the world of work.

Employability Lab 2025

Employability Lab – A Bridge to the Professional Future is back. The orientation program is promoted by the University Career Service, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, to support Sapienza undergraduates and recent graduates in their job search. The program unfolds in three progressive steps, offering participants concrete tools to approach the job market with greater awareness and confidence. This first event, scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., consists of an informative webinar presenting the project. The initiative is aimed at Sapienza undergraduates and recent graduates interested in:

  • Acquiring skills for an active job search, from CV writing to strengthening soft skills;
  • Deciding how far along the program to go, with the option of completing all three steps;
  • Achieving the "Employability Lab" Open Badge, an official recognition to be included on your CV and LinkedIn.

Sapienza Career Days - Legal and Economic Studies 2024

Students are informed that on March 6, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Faculty of Economics will host the Sapienza Career Days - Legal and Economic Studies 2024. 
This is an extraordinary opportunity for our students, undergraduates, and graduates to engage directly with businesses, institutions, and organizations to better navigate their careers.
The event is divided into two phases. In the morning, a seminar on career guidance and employability will be held, thanks to the contribution of leading employment agencies operating in Italy and career guidance professionals. In the afternoon, several presentations will be held, during which businesses and organizations will illustrate their culture, open positions and career opportunities, as well as the main profiles sought and the related selection processes.
Additionally, the organizations involved will be available to meet and receive the CVs of students and graduates of the Faculties of Economics and Law at the desks set up in the Smart Village spaces.

Stage Proposals
  • Bloomberg Recruitment Event – Discover Bloomberg

    Students are informed that Bloomberg is organizing an in-person recruitment event in Rome: Discover Bloomberg.   • Agreements for traineeships 
    We would like to inform students that Enasarco and Fondo Pensioni Byblos are interested in activating curricular traineeships for Finass students from all curricula. Students can apply via the JobSoul platform. A few details are given below. 

    Enasarco is the organization that provides compulsory social security and healthcare for commercial and financial brokerage professionals with agency or representation contracts. The welfare benefits managed by the Foundation are subsidiary to those provided by the 'first pillar' Inps. The number of members is over 237 thousand and the companies in charge are 57 thousand. Each year it provides more than 135 thousand pensions and about 36 thousand Firr settlements. The skills required for quantitative young people (trainees) range from aspects of computational finance to actuarial analysis for assessing the long-term economic and financial sustainability of the institution.

    BYBLOS is the Complementary Pension Fund for employees of Printing, Publishing, Paper and Cardboard, Paper Converting, and Transforming companies and for workers in the entertainment industry. BYBLOS was established in 1998 and is registered in the Register of Pension Funds, set up at COVIP, under no. 124. BYBLOS is a no-profit association instituted with the exclusive aim of guaranteeing a complementary pension to its member workers, based on the Defined Contribution (DC) criterion. The skills required for young quantities (trainees) are mainly focused on financial analysis and on topics related to dynamic investment strategies and the evaluation of the cost of the financial guarantees offered by the internal sub-fund dedicated to receiving TFR shares.

     

  • Internship offer at Marsh
    The risk insurance area of the consulting and brokerage company Marsh (Rome office) is looking for two young people to join its staff, starting from 1 January 2024, through the Graduates program, a career path specifically dedicated to young people to be introduced to the job. The profile required includes graduates in economic subjects (or graduating students, about to complete their studies by early 2024), with actuarial, insurance, and financial skills, who have an excellent knowledge of English. The Graduates program includes an initial six-month in-company training phase through an internship (extra-curricular).   • MAECI-MUR-CRUI Internship
    The "MAECI-MUR-Italian Universities Internship Programme" is the result of a collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR), and Italian Universities, through the organizational support of the Fondazione CRUI, for the performance of curricular internships at the foreign offices of MAECI. The trainees will be engaged in carrying out research, studies, analyses, and data processing useful for the in-depth study of the files handled by each Office. Students may also be involved in the organization of events and assist MAECI staff in external projection activities. Participation in the program is open to students who, on the expiry date of this call for applications, meet the appropriate requirements, specified in the call for applications, including enrolment in a degree course in the LM 16 - Finance class.   • Internship offer at Milliman 
    The international actuarial consultancy company Milliman is looking for young talents for a remunerated internship with concrete possibilities for professional growth. The internship will be held at the Verona or Milan offices and will last 6 months. The profile required is as follows:
    • Graduate or undergraduate in finance, statistics, or actuarial sciences;
    • Excellent knowledge of the Office package;
    • Good knowledge of the most common programming languages and scientific calculation applications (C/C++, R, Python, Matlab, etc.);
    • Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken);
    • Proactive, particularly interested in the actuarial/financial world and in consultancy work.

      Curricular traineeships may also be possible, according to the official channels for the activation of such procedures. For further information and details, please contact Prof. Massimiliano Frezza.
       

  • Two junior positions at Deloitte 
    Two junior positions at Deloitte are open. The first one concerns the Sustainable Finance area (Milan and Rome offices) and requires a degree in Economics or Quantitative Finance, knowledge of financial sector regulations with specific reference to regulatory areas within the Risk Management perimeter, excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, and technical skills in data analysis. The second refers to the ESG Data Strategy & Transformation area (Milan and Rome offices) and requires a degree in the engineering/technical/economic field, excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, and good knowledge of the main office software.   • Sapienza Career Days
    On 15 March 2023, Sapienza Career Days will take place. This is an appointment devoted to undergraduates and graduate students in "Economic sciences and Law"o facilitate the meeting between job supply and demand.   • Competition at Banca d'Italia 
    Banca d'Italia (Rome ) has published the 2022 call for applications for three selection procedures for the permanent recruitment of a total of 60 experts. It will be possible to apply until 21 December 2022. Applicants are required to have a master's degree with a score of at least 105/110 in the LM-16 (finance) class.   • Employability Lab - Second edition 
    To help undergraduate students and recent graduates in their career path, Sapienza offers some online appointments. For more information, please refer to the Employability Lab 
    The new edition of “Employability Lab" has been started since September 2021. The project aims to provide graduates with tools useful to face the labor market with greater awareness of their personal qualities, as well as and the external context.
