Magali Barbierihas a joint position at UC Berkeley and at the Institut national d´études démographiques (INED) in Paris. She is the Associate Director for the Human Mortality Database project (www.mortality.org ) and presently lecturer at the European Doctoral School of Demography, Sapienza University of Rome.
